Ensure that the order-to-delivery process is as customer friendly AND streamlined as possible.

Outputs of the order-to-delivery process (product manufacturer / distributor) or the service fulfillment process (service provider) directly interface with the customer and as such form one of the two critical touchpoints the organisation has with its customers.
The imperative is to make this process as streamlined as possible. Streamlining business processes enables maximum time for sales and service staff to spend in the effectiveness domain.
